Congratulations to Max Kriegshauser and his family for Max's receiving the rank of Eagle Scout.
Troop 161 scouts performed the Opening Ceremony.
The MC was Mr. Larry Cain.
The opening prayer was given by Gus's grandmother, Mrs Penny Hartley.
Max's scouting journey was given by Eagle Scout Allen Shorey.
The Eagle Scout Trail was presented by Eagle Scout Ben Blittschau.
The Eagle Scout Charge was presented by Mr. Andy Sandroni.
The Eagle Scout Pledge was presented by Mr. Paul Leicht.
The Eagle Scout Award was presented by Max's parents, Mr. Ned & Mrs. Sue Kriegshauser.
Closing remarks were presented by Allen Shorey.
The closing prayer was given by Gus Kriegshauser.

A Court of Honor was held on July 8, 2018. Joey C. and Jack S., our newest members, achieved the Scout rank and were presented their badges. Three boys received merit badges and Ben B. received his Eagle Scout Bronze palm. Mr. Jacobs was recognized for his service as our Scoutmaster and a plaque was presented in appreciation of his support over the last few years. Thank you for all you have done for our Troop, Mr. Jacobs!

Earth Day Tree Preparation
& Earth Day Festival

April 14 and 21, 2018
Scouts helped the Missouri Department of Conservation prepare 1200 tree seedlings for distribution at the 2018 St. Louis Earth Day Festival.
At the Earth Day Festival the following weekend, Amy explains how the study of aquatic macroinvertebrates help to determine water quality.

St. Simon the Apostle
February 18 & 19, 2018
Scouts enjoyed an overnight Lock-In at St. Simon's cafeteria and gym.
Scouts also enjoyed pizza, snacks, and refreshments Sunday night.
Activities included Monopoly, basketball and movies.
Thanks to the leaders who helped with the lock-in, special thanks to the leaders that stayed overnight.
Thanks to the Holy Name Society for their donation of refreshments.
