Big thanks to the Venture Scouts and their families who helped with the Earth Day Tree Seedling preparation. Each year the Department of Conservation distributes free tree seedlings at the St. Louis Earth Day Festival. This is the 16th year we have assisted the MDC to individually wrap the seedlings for give away. The seedlings come in large bundles from MDC's nursery in Licking, MO. This year we prepared 1300 tree seedlings - flowering dogwood and black chokeberry. Click on "Read More" below to see more photos of tree seedling prep.
